Baby Leighton's Nursery

Leighton's nursery - we can't wait to have her home! 2 months to the due date!!

View from inside by the rocking chair.
L-R (Crib, Closet, Changing Table, Entrance/Exit)

View from the entrance (as wide as I could get my camera)

View from the closet door (Jon made that lamp - cool, huh?)

The changing table

Inside the crib (just for decoration...)

Her walk-in closet - ridiculous already, I know.
The other side is just as bad (..or good, if you ask me)
The metal thing next to her painting, in the middle, is a giraffe Jon made.
I cut it off in the picture - sorry! It's so neat - very modern!

Think we're ready?!

Baby Shower

My baby shower was PERFECT...and I mean perfect! The details of the day and the small touches were unbelievable - Dani and Kathleen did an amazing job planning and hosting such a beautiful shower. I cannot thank either of them enough!! I think they might have a new business venture on their hands with how gorgeous and successful the day was! AMAZING!

The gifts from everyone just kept on coming - so generous - Baby Leighton is one lucky little girl. So loved...

Below are tons of pictures (thanks Auntie Summie!) :

Ultrasound III

28 weeks, 1 day

Here she is again - and let me tell you - today was not the day that Baby Leighton was ready to be photogenic. She had her hands, her umbilical cord, and everything else in the way the whole time. This was the best we could get - and she doesn't look happy about it! Ha! Still, I could stare all day at her.

And good news on the ultrasound: no signs of placenta previa - the placenta moved away from the cervix just as expected.

Oh, and they confirmed it is a girl! Wouldn't that have been interesting...
