Christmas Video

And yes, she wore the same dress on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (she slept in it).

Little miss refuses to wear jammies - at all costs - right now.

Christmas 2011

Pure joy.

Breakfast with Santa at Preschool (and with Grammie & Papa John)

Plus, train rides!

Christmas Eve with my parents

Me and my mama

Spoiled mom!

The happy couple!

Me and my little love

That face...love it!

Lots of games and gift exchanging.

Reindeer food and sparkles to light the way.

Christmas story, cookies and milk

Bye, bye  Morton (our elf!) We will miss you!

Christmas morning

Pure joy.

She played all day.

And so did we.

Leighton woke up the day after Christmas and with tears in her eyes said "Santa forgot me!"

A little explaining that Santa only comes once per year, not every year.

The Big Man

I know I say this ad nauseum each year, but holidays with kids are just

the.bestest.ever.ever.ever.ever.ever.

Leighton is in full Santa/Elf on the Shelf mode

and Jon and I can't get enough of it.

Here was her token picture with Santa.

(thanks, Grandma Mary for buying us the digitals).

Birthday Girl

T-H-R-E-E years old!!
We opted to just celebrate with family this year, since quite a few were in town....

And Leighton tends to do much better one-on-one rather than a big gathering just staring at her.
She still brought in *way too much* loot....and scored a Tangled cake, of course!
We love you big, big, big girl!

Scooter time at G-Ma's...under demo (obvi)

This is the first morning video of her birthday + first starting to learn her new bike (she's a pro now) and her "birthday song".

We were hoping for a big "OMG" reaction...no such luck...but still cute.
