Cousins in Como, Colorado

After Jon's orthopedic physician said "no" to flying with his injury and cast; I was super anxious about traveling with little Leigh all alone (....not a big fan of flying anyway), but I just couldn't miss the opportunity to go see my sister and her family (...and of course, Leighton's cousins!!).

Airport security with a 5 month old is a nightmare....that's all I'm saying about that.

Leighton actually did pretty well on the 2 hour flight. Slept 30 minutes, spent another hour awake and happy, but then ended the flight crying for the last 30 minutes. I felt like crying for her, too!

But we made it...safe and sound...

It was so fantastic to see Jake, Tye and Jossie...and then to see their interaction and interest in Leighton was even better!

Dani and I had plenty of time to catch up and have some "sissy" time....Dani really focused on "auntie" time...and I can't blame her.

Nick was a great "tour guide" for all things Colorado...and a busy little bee around their house!!

It was great to see their new life and how happy they are...
